The Surf Life Saving School is an initiative of the Surf Life Saving Sydney Northern Beaches Branch. The branch contains the largest number of clubs in any branch in Australia .

The Surf Life Saving School is a centre of excellence that intends on educating the wider community, whilst not losing touch with the 21 surf clubs in the Northern Beaches Branch.

The Surf Life Saving School will be using some of Australia 's most famous beaches for running its courses. From the golden sands of Manly in the south to picturesque North Palm Beach in the north, the school will provide an experience you will never forget.

The Surf Life Saving School is not a club in it, however it hopes to produce future life saving club members. Whilst each club is an autonomous body, the branch and the school represent their interests. The School will provide support to clubs through education and training of club members and providing new members to hopefully boost numbers.

Being a centre of excellence, the school is setting out with high standards to educate and encourage people to experience what the surf life saving culture is all about. So challenge yourself to experience the exciting life of the beach.
